Innovation award for Formel D subsidiary CPS Quality
Last Tuesday, our subsidiary CPS Quality received an innovation award from EQUIP AUTO. The award ceremony was held during a gala dinner at the EQUIP AUTO trade show in Paris, organized by Philippe Baudin, who was elected president of EQUIP AUTO on April 4, 2019.
Claude Cham, president of the FIEV, and French minister of labor Muriel Pénicaud opened the event with a joint keynote. A panel of judges consisting of expert journalists from the industry carefully examined all the innovations presented at the trade show, choosing winners for different categories.
The special award for innovation went to the ‘Connected Table’, showcased at the Formel D and CPS Quality booth. This control and rework test bench convinced the judges with its camera and smart glasses feature. Like a ‘third eye’, the system supports inspectors in identifying defective parts, boosting inspection quality.
“We are delighted that our products won over both our customers and the panel of experts, and of course we are especially proud of the outstanding team at CPS Quality responsible for developing and refining the ‘Connected Table’. We are confident that this innovation will play a major role in driving modern, digital management of incoming goods forward,” says Dr. Jürgen Laakmann, CEO of Formel D.
Formel D and CPS Quality presented their shared range of services to the public for the first time at Equip Auto 2019 in Paris.
