Graduation Celebration at Formel D
Five young talents, five different training and career paths: On November 20, our cooperative education students and trainees who completed their programs this year were honored as part of a graduation celebration held at the company headquarters in Troisdorf.
After receiving lots of praise for their successes, the graduates were presented with their certificates and a small gift. They then took the opportunity to talk about their time as trainees and their future jobs at Formel D while enjoying a piece of graduation cake. “We are delighted and proud to continue working with all the graduates and accompany them on their paths forward,” says Nina Robra, head trainer at Formel D.

Our Graduates in Profile
Lucas (IT-Infrastructure)
As the first cooperative education student in business informatics, Lucas spent the last three years getting to know the IT world at Formel D. His studies focused on IT consulting, which he successfully applied in practice in internal IT infrastructure projects. For example, he assisted in setting up the global asset management, planning the concept as part of his bachelor thesis and providing scientific support for it. “I look forward to being able to assume even more responsibility in the future,” says Lucas about his future job in the IT infrastructure team.
Frederike (Payroll & Administration)
During her training to become an office management assistant, Frederike gained valuable experience in all the administrative departments at the company headquarters. As her elective qualification as part of her traineeship, she opted for HR, which she enjoyed most during her hands-on training at Formel D. Based on her excellent work, she has now joined the Payroll & Administration department and plans to complete vocational training to become a human resources manager. “I’d like to continue learning even after I’ve finished my training,” explains Frederike.
Markus (Company Strategy)
Markus wrote his bachelor thesis working for Formel D in Shanghai. Two years later, he has now also successfully completed his dual master’s degree in Business Development Management. During his master program, he collaborated on various projects in the area of company strategy. What does he find special about working for Formel D? “The diversity and internationality of the tasks and challenges, the creative freedom and the open, friendly exchange,” he emphasizes.
Maike (Training Germany)
After successfully completing her bachelor’s degree in general management with Formel D, Maike now works in the Formel D training department for Germany and can incorporate her experiences from her studies into her work. Remaining true to the integrated degree program, she is now completing a master’s degree in business psychology, once again in cooperation with Formel D. “By working in various projects and departments during my studies, I established a large network that I benefit from every day at work,” says Maike.
Lennart (Projektmanagement)
Lennart recently joined Formel D as the youngest junior project manager. During his successful cooperative education program in industrial management, part of which he completed in the US, he primarily worked for Formel D in sales and project management. Among other things, he supported colleagues in Saarlouis in various projects for our customer Ford. “What I especially liked about studying with Formel D was that my interests were always considered when planning the schedule, meaning I was able to design my degree,” reveals Lennart.
